How JK Ranch got its name
Jacob and a buddy used to joke about starting a shop called JK Plumbing, with the line "not just kidding about plumbing." When Jacob and Julie sat down to name the real company, JK was already there — it's Julie's initials — so they kept it.
They added "Ranch" because it sounded like where they're from. That is the whole story of the name. JK Ranch Plumbing started in 2026.
Jacob
Jacob Pryor is the owner and the Responsible Master Plumber, Texas license M-47091. He has been plumbing since he got out of high school, a little over ten years now. He always wanted his own plumbing company.
He is the one who answers the phone and the one who shows up. Being a one-plumber shop means the schedule is honest rather than padded — there is no crew sitting around to send, and there is no second truck that rolls up to your door. The license on the job is the same one on the truck.
When somebody calls, Jacob answers, Jacob shows up, and Jacob's license is on the job. That is how it works here.
Julie
Julie Korenek is the other owner. She handles the office, the bookkeeping and the marketing. She raised cattle growing up and always wanted a business of her own.
When you call or email about scheduling or an invoice, Julie is who you talk to. She keeps the schedule straight and makes sure the job goes down the way it should.
Being new, and saying so
JK Ranch Plumbing opened in 2026. The company is new. Jacob is not.
You don't have to take our word for it. The license number M-47091 can be looked up on the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners website. The insurance certificate is available on request. And every estimate is free, so nobody has to commit money to find out whether they like working with us.
We won't pretend to be older than we are. The work is what it is, and the license is on the record.

Two years on workmanship and on the parts JK Ranch supplies.
Permits
JK Ranch Plumbing pulls all plumbing permits. The work is done to code and on the record.
